Ward Christmas Party

So part of my job as activities co chair is to do the ward christmas party... which is really quite hard to do! I gotta give props to other christmas parties I have been to in the past because its really stressful... The two nights before the party I was up until 1 either baking desserts or making the ornament placeholder crafts... Here is what I made...They were way cute and once i figured out how to make them they weren't that bad but to do so many of them was intense... i should have thought about it and started it sooner! The dinner was catered and it was pretty much the whole party but we spent so much money on making it nice that I couldn't justify more money being spent for singing groups or other activities. Maybe i should have... I think it was great! Here are some pics:

These are the ornament placecards that I made... so very cute but a project that needed to be started at least a week before and not two days before! The catered dinner was very nice when it was all put together!

This is just one of the 'black & white' desserts that we had (of course Ryan made this cake- isn't it divine!) And we played games after dinner...such a fun night!
