So when i was asked to play on my company's softball team I thought it was because I was an athletic girl. However, it lead to so much more! After our first game , the team afterwards needed another girl to even be allowed to play so they asked me to play for them. After the game they were like' so you can play for us for the whole season, right..." I of course said yes because I am now truly hooked on playing the game! We have played for 8 weeks now and i've only missed one week. The sad thing is neither of those teams have won a game : ( Am I the off factor?
After the first couple weeks playing, the new ward announced that they had 2 softball teams and the season was just starting up and needed girls. I knew in my head that I shouldn't say anything but before it processed my mouth opened up and said 'i'll play!' So now i'm on 3 teams!
The only sad thing about the ward team is we have had 2 games but not enough people show up to play... major lame!
So if you ever wanna know where i'm at... wednesday night is church softball and thursday nights are company games... come and watch me play!!
Update: tonights game I got pegged in the groin (ovaries) from my own teammate... its a huge bruise and its in a bad place... sadness!
